Christmas Nails #2 are my not-so-serious attempt at some holy. I didn’t have the patience this weekend to do proper holy leaves so I went with a more simple curved leaf, easy to do with either a dotting tool of a detail brush. I painted a regular french manicure first followed by glitter topper over the white before adding the gold, then the leaves, and finally the berries.
The polishes I used for this design are:
- Zoya Ellen (neutral french)
- Chine Glaze White on White
- Butter London Frilly Knickers (glitter topper)
- Zoya Ziv
- Zoya Logan – NEW (leaves)
- Essie Mojito Madness (leaves)
- Color Club Look Book (berries)
I started my new job this week in communications at the University of Victoria and wanted something pretty and festive for my nails without being overwhelming, hence choosing a french manicure. Zoya Ellen is a perfect nude and great if you want some coverage. Here are some more photos and you can also see Christmas Nails #1 here if you missed them last week.
Stay tuned, one more Christmas design coming next weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
